Prince George RCMP are asking for the public's help to track down a man suspected of carrying out a home-invasion style-robbery early Wednesday morning.
The suspect is described as First Nations male, about 183 cm (6') tall and wearing a black hoodie with a white Adidas writing, an orange bandana on his head, jeans and tan coloured work boots.
A 2600-block Oak Street home was robbed. RCMP were called to the scene at about 3:15 a.m.
"The suspect forced his way into the residence, pointed a handgun at the adult male resident that investigated the noise, and demanded valuables," RCMP said.
"The victim complied and was struck on the back of the head just before the suspect fled. The injury is not believed to be serious and the two other adults in the house were uninjured."
Anyone with information on the incident and where the suspect may be is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
