A Prince George man is in custody and faces a long list of charges following a property crime spree over the weekend.
Prince George RCMP said Thursday that Kyler Gregory Stevens, 19, was apprehended early Saturday morning on Gladstone Drive in the Lower College Heights area after police saw him breaking into vehicles.
Police said several items were found on Stevens, including a collapsible baton, four pairs of sunglasses, three cell phones and a number of tools believed to have been used to carry out the thefts.
Stevens faces six counts of possession of stolen property, three counts of breach of an undertaking, two counts each of trespassing at night and breach of probation and one count each of theft under $5,000, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of break-in instruments and resisting arrest.
RCMP are also working to return the items found on Stevens to their owners.

Police are also reminding residents to make sure to remove anything of value from their vehicles and ensure they're locked before leaving them as well as to make sure bikes, lawnmowers and other property of value in and around their yards has been secured.
