A Prince George man faces nearly 30 charges for allegedly committing a domestic assault and then attempting to flee police twice in the same day.

Kenneth Seymour, 23, remains in custody following his arrest last week after police were called to a Corless Crescent home. Prince George RCMP said at the time that a Taser was deployed after he resisted arrest at the home.

RCMP also said Seymour tried to escape when he was taken to hospital for treatment and this time he was apprehended with the help of a police dog. Seymour was subsequently returned to hospital for treatment of bite wounds before he was taken into custody.

Seymour, who originally comes from Fort Ware, faces one count of assaulting a peace officer, two counts each of assault causing bodily harm, disarming a peace officer and escape from lawful custody, three counts each of assault and break and enter to commit an offence, resisting arrest and uttering threats and nine counts of breach of probation.
