A 50-year-old Salmon Valley man was arrested after police were called to an alleged firearm-related incident Tuesday night in the community north of the city.
Prince George RCMP said officers, including a dog service team, were called to the scene at about 8 p.m.
The North District RCMP emergency response team and air services section were also deployed.
Other than to say it involved two men known to each other and no shots were believed to have been fired, police provided no further details.
The man remained in police custody as of Wednesday morning but charges are yet to be laid, RCMP said. His name was not released.
