A 28-year-old Surrey man has been charged with robbery and failure to comply with a release order after an incident over the weekend.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday, Prince George RCMP received a report of a robbery at a hotel in downtown Prince George.
The male suspect was reported to have demanded money from the staff and threatened to harm them, before fleeing from the hotel on foot.
A suspect was arrested a short time later near the corner of Third Avenue and George Street.
Jonathan Scott Jacobs remains in custody and his next court appearance is April 5.
