Prince George courthouse was evacuated and the area cordoned off for an hour after a large suitcase was found sitting at the building's front door on Tuesday morning.
When a police dog did not smell any explosives, RCMP moved in and opened the suitcase which appeared to be full of clothes and personal items.
The courthouse was reopened shortly before 9:30 a.m.
Some onlookers said they had seen a man pulling a similar suitcase around the downtown core on Monday.
