Prince George RCMP suspect the same person is behind a pair of suspicious incidents reported to the detachment on Friday morning.
At 7:45 a.m., RCMP received a report of an unknown man approaching a woman near the corner of 15th Avenue and Central Street and making comments that made her feel uneasy.
About an hour later, RCMP received a call from Harwin elementary school of a man acting strangely and approaching one of the school's students on 15th Avenue near Harper Street.
Police believe the suspect is the same person in both instances and may be suffering from a mental disability.
The suspect in the first incident was described as caucasian, 35 to 40 years old, about 173 cm (5'8") tall with short "buzz cut" hair and brown facial hair and wearing a black winter coat and holding a lanyard of keys in his hand.
The suspect in the second incident is described as caucasian, 55 years old, with grey hair and a scruffy beard and wearing beige clothes.
The reports come after two unrelated incidents were reported to RCMP on Thursday.
At about 8:15 a.m., a man in a dark coloured and dirty Ford F-150 pickup truck pulled up alongside a teenage girl near Westgate Avenue and Bear Road and tried twice to summon her to his vehicle.
She refused both times and the man drove away.
The suspect is described a caucasian, 40 to 50 year old, with brown hair in a short brush cut and pale white, saggy skin with scabs on the bridge of his nose and cheek. He was wearing a brown Carhartt jacket.
Then, at 2:25 p.m., RCMP received a report of a man in a white van with a charcoal coloured base, similar to a Chevrolet Montana, throwing snowballs at students near Renwick Crescent and Edmonton Street.
When confronted by a member of the public, the man said he liked talking to the students and had just arrived here from Newfoundland.
He is described as older and was wearing blue jeans and a hat similar to those worn in the Australian outback.
They would also like to speak to the two suspects and are asking the public to help track them down. Anyone with information is asked to call the detachment at 250-561-3300.
"Police would like to remind the adult public that it is not appropriate to approach school aged children not known to you," RCMP added.
