Stranger danger in College Heights

Prince George RCMP have received a report of a stranger offering a child a ride while she was walking to an elementary school. The incident was reported to have occurred on Monday at about 8:20 a.m.

Prince George RCMP have received a report of a stranger offering a child a ride while she was walking to an elementary school.

The incident was reported to have occurred on Monday at about 8:20 a.m. when a girl was approached by an adult man in a car in the vicinity of Vista View and Greyshell Roads in College Heights while she was making her way to elementary school.

The girl screamed and ran home, police said.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older turquoise green four door sedan with several dents and its driver is is described as First Nations, 40 to 50 years old, with long brown-grey hair in a ponytail and thin with facial blemishes.
