Prince George RCMP have arrested a 21-year-old Calgary man suspected of holding up a Prince George gas station with a hand gun on Monday evening.
Acting on a tip following release of a security camera image, police apprehended Raymond Douglas Pennicott without incident on Wednesday morning during a traffic stop in the 800 block of Ewert Street.
Pennicott, who police said has former ties to Prince George, faces a charge of armed robbery and Mounties are also looking into whether he was involved in the two Subway restaurant robberies on Friday night, in which a hand gun was also used.
