Quesnel RCMP are asking the public's help concerning a stolen Bobcat Skidster which was stuck in a ditch near Highway 97 on Bjornson Road.

Police believe several Caucasian men attempted to recover the Bobcat, stolen out of Vancouver in 2008, by loading it onto a flatdeck trailer hitched to a full-size pickup truck. When they weren't successful, they left the Bobcat near the road. Anyone who witnessed any part of this incident or knows anything about the suspect vehicle is asked to call RCMP Cst. Matt Isaak at 250-992-9211.

In another incident Saturday in Quesnel, Isaak reports a 2010 Western Star logging truck and Doepker log trailer were stolen from Carradice Road. The tridem axle truck is a green 2005 truck with Clauson Logging written on the door, and Unit 593 written on the hood. Licence plate is CL0954. The gray trailer was attached to the tractor unit with licence plate 47898C. Anyone with information about the theft or equipment is asked to call Isaak at 250-992-9211.
