The community of Wells will be featured in the season finale of CBC's Still Standing - the show that sees Canadian comedian Jonny Harris traveling the country discovering humour in the country's far-flung small towns.
The episode will air on Tues., Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. on CBC, the CBC TV streaming app and cbc.ca/watch.
Harris will look at how a new mining project in the works could spell a new boom for the former gold rush town turned arts community. If it pans out, the town's miners and artists will have to work together to share the wealth.
