A 19-year-old Prince George man is expected to recover, Prince George RCMP said Friday, after suffering a stab wound to his back early Friday morning during a drunken fight at a house party.

A 19-year-old Prince George man is expected to recover, Prince George RCMP said Friday, after suffering a stab wound to his back early Friday morning during a drunken fight at a house party.

Police are on the look out for a suspect after they were called to a home in the 300 block of Burden Street just after 1 a.m.

"Investigators believe that the victim was stabbed during a fight between many people at a residential party," Prince George RCMP Cst. Craig Douglass said in a press release. "Alcohol was involved."

The man was transported to University Hospital of Northern B.C. by ambulance for treatment and the investigation is continuing.
