A unique 2011 calendar will feature less fortunate residents in the city who live on the streets and access shelters and a downtown drop-in centre on a regular basis.

From Mr. or Miss January to December, the residents all have different and unique stories to tell.

But they all agree that St. Vincent de Paul Drop-in Centre offers warmth, good food and friendship.

The second annual calendar, produced by volunteer Bobbi Knight, is designed to raise funds for the St. Vincent de Paul Society on Second Avenue.

The calendar, which "reveals a very rich and surprising side to Prince George" will be unveiled to the public Thursday, said Knight.

Calendars will be available for sale at the launch party at the Prince George Public Library, 887 Dominion St., from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The 1,000 calendars printed cost $15 each and all proceeds go to St. Vincent de Paul Society .
