It's bright, shiny and new - at times maybe even a little too bright and shiny.
A month and a half after it was opened, the new Duchess Park secondary school continues to receive rave reviews from its students and teachers.
But one problem has shone through, so to speak.
The abundance of windows has meant morning classes on the school's east side can get an extra dose of sunshine. The glare has made the Smart Boards - the interactive white boards in place in each classroom - tough to read and, according to one student, can be hard enough on the eyes to prompt an entire class to turn their desks around and the teacher to go to the other end of the room to deliver the lesson.
