A Prince George home outfitted with solar-powered water-heating system will be among the 30 across B.C. to be showcased during B.C. Solar Days at the end of this month.
Keith Little's house at 3096 Wallace Crescent will be open to the public on Saturday, May 29, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to give people a chance to see how such a system works.
"It's a great way to spread the word about solar energy systems for your home," Little said in a press release.
Organized by Solar B.C., the first annual BC Solar Days is set for May 28, 29 to run in conjunction with Europe's annual solar week, which sees over 5,000 activities in 10 countries across Europe.
