It'll be smoother sailing for drivers heading north of Prince George.

Environment Canada has ended its snowfall warning for Highway 97 near the Pine Pass as of 11 a.m. today (Feb. 22).

There are also no warnings in effect for B.C.'s northern capital of surrounding areas, but with flurries still expected to start this weekend, commuters are being reminded once more to adjust driving habits.

This includes watching your speed on highways, making sure you have proper grip on your tires, and taking extra time to get to your destination.

The forecast is calling for 60 per cent chance of flurries this evening, with winds gusting as high as 50 km/h by Saturday morning (Feb. 23).
