A snowfall warning issued Friday morning for Prince George, Vanderhoof and Fort St. James was expanded early this afternoon to include more of the Highway 16 West corridor.

Burns Lake, Fraser Lake, and Smithers are now also expected to receive 10 to 15 cm of snow by Saturday morning.

Rapidly accumulating snow on Highway 16, as well as community roads, could make travelling difficult, Environment Canada said.
