Snowfall warning issued for Prince George

After hit by significant snow on Friday, a second more intense Pacific frontal system will approach the British Columbia interior Saturday night.

"The system will spread snow heavy at times to portions of northern interior, central interior and North Columbia this evening and the snow will continue into Sunday," Environment Canada said. "Snowfall amounts of 10 to 25 cm can be expected from tonight through Sunday over the above regions."

Meanwhile, an accident Saturday morning closed Highway 16 East in both directions 65 kilometres east of the junction with Highway 5, in Tete Jaune Cache.
