Snowfall warning issued for Cariboo

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the Cariboo region late afternoon Tuesday, calling for as much as 15 centimetres. "A Pacific warm front will approach the B.C. central interior overnight," the agency said.

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the Cariboo region late afternoon Tuesday, calling for as much as 15 centimetres.

"A Pacific warm front will approach the B.C. central interior overnight," the agency said. "The front combined with below freezing temperatures will produce up to 15 cm of snow. The snow will develop overnight then ease Wednesday afternoon."

Snowfall warnings were also in place for the North Coast-inland sections, McGregor, Williston and B.C. Peace regions.

Warnings for Prince George, Stuart-Nechako and Bulkley Valley and the Lakes District earlier in the day and over Monday night were since ended.
