Be careful if you're driving south this morning - 100 Mile House has been hit with another deluge of snow according to Environment Canada.

"Heavy snow is falling with 30 cm reported this morning," the service said in a statement issued shortly before 9:30 a.m. "Up to 15 cm of additional snow is expected throughout today."

Highway 97 will be difficult to drive as a result as the snow makes for a slippery surface and poor visibility, Environment Canada added.

Also:

- Highway 16 was reduced to single lane alternating 20 km east of Slim Creek to allow for a vehicle recovery, according to a DriveBC bulletin issued this morning.

- DriveBC reported snow on Highway 5 from Blue River to 62 km north of the community as of 11:45 a.m.
