Environment Canada has a snowfall warning in effect for the Prince George area as there is significant snow expected today.
Up to 10 cm of snow has already fallen and a further five to 10 cm is expected this morning. Snow will ease to a mixture of showers and flurries later today as temperatures rise slightly.
Drive BC says road conditions are hazardous due to heavy snowfall on Highway 97 in both directions from Prince George.
