A repeat offender was sentenced to one year in jail Monday for possession for the purpose of trafficking for an incident that began when a Mountie came across a man asleep in a running vehicle.
Harjinder John Singh Berar, 44, was found in the vehicle in the 200 block of Cherry Avenue at about 8 a.m. on July 30.
