Cpl. Darren Fitzpatrick Bravery Park on Glenview Drive in the Hart will see construction start Tuesday on a multi use park.
In attendance to mark the occasion are members of the Fitzpatrick family and Mayor Lyn Hall, among others.
The Canadian flag was raised to honour Cpl. Darren Fitzpatrick's memory at the park formerly known as Glenview Park.
