It was exactly six years Monday that an Alexis Creek woman was last seen, but her family continues their search.
July 6, 2004 is when 41-year-old Jaqueline (Jackie) Bob disappeared while picking mushrooms with friends in the Nemiah Valley, and was reported missing the next day due to the remoteness of the area.
An extensive week-long ground and air search was conducted involving RCMP members, dog and air services, search and rescue teams and members of the Tsilhqot'in National Government who assisted on foot, horseback, and on ATV's. But no trace of Bob was found.
