Single lane north of Hixon

Highway 97 South was reduced to single-lane alternating traffic at two locations this morning. One was at three kilometres north of Hixon due to a vehicle recovery and the other 13.2 kilometres north of the junction with Highway 26 in Quesnel.

One was at three kilometres north of Hixon due to a vehicle recovery and the other 13.2 kilometres north of the junction with Highway 26 in Quesnel.

Full reopening was expected at the site north of Hixon was expected to occur at 9 a.m., according to a posting on the Ministry of Transportation's Drive B.C. website at 4:30 a.m. while no estimate was provided for the site further south.
