Now that tax season is here, what do you do with all of your old personal documents that you can’t just throw away?
Well, the Prince George Crime Stoppers Society is back, just in time, with it’s Shred-It event to help protect you from identity theft!
Gather your documents by Saturday, April 27 and head down to the CN Centre parking lot where Shred-It Mobile Shredding Services will help you quickly, responsibly and safely shred your personal or important documents.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and costs a $5 donation (but be mindful this event is not intended for business owners).
Mr. Mikes will also be hosting a burger barbeque by donation to the Prince George Crimestoppers from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This also conveniently takes place on the same weekend as the city-wide Spring Cleanup event and the Northern BC home show.
Prince George Crime Stoppers is a not-for-profit society run independently of the police by everyday citizens like you.
All information received is anonymous and is provided to the police in the hopes it will further investigations and lead to arrests, seizures and recovery of property.
