Mounties said an occupant of a home in a residential complex on Stuart Drive heard a bang and noticed a bullet hole on an upstairs window. Upon further investigation, more holes were located in one of the home's walls.
RCMP were called to the scene just before 1 a.m.
"This appears targeted however it is believed that those responsible were at the wrong house," said Mackenzie RCMP Sgt. Jayson Davidson. "The outcome could have ended tragically."
