Prince George RCMP arrested six people Monday and Tuesday who were involved in what police term as a "shoplifting or theft ring."
Cst. Lesley Smith, media liaison officer, said the group has been going from store to store to steal items such as DVDs, a telephone and groceries.
Police were able to obtain the licence plate number of the vehicle the group travelled in. They were arrested and remain in custody on theft charges.
