City fire crews quickly snuffed out a Wednesday morning blaze.
At 7 a.m., Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a shed fire in the 500 block of Fourth Avenue. The flames, which had fully engulfed the shed, were threatening a second building.
Fifteen firefighters from three halls prevented the fire from being too widely spread, limiting the damage to an estimated $50,000. The shed was a total loss, at $3,000 worth of damage.
Both buildings were vacant and there were no injuries reported. The fire is being treated as suspicious and the fire department and RCMP are investigating.
