To help keep the homeless warm this winter, a Share-The-Warmth fashion show is being held by local boutiques Butterfly Threads and Vanilla at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at Coast Inn of the North.
Participants are asked to bring new or used coats, tuques, hats, mitts, socks, scarves or other warm winter garb for sharing with the homeless.
Tickets, at $25, are available at both boutiques and Books & Co. The evening offers fashion, fun, prizes, toonie raffles, dessert buffet and more. Call Jacquie at 250-562-2323 to reserve tables.
