B.C. Supreme Court Justice Selywn Romilly is expected to issue a verdict on July 25 for a man facing a long list of sex-related charges in which two of his stepdaughters are the alleged victims.
The accused faces 14 charges, including sexual assault, sexual interference of a person under 14 years old, publishing child pornography and bestiality for acts alleged to have occurred in Prince George from when the stepdaughters were young.
The man, who cannot be named under a court-ordered publication ban against information identifying the alleged victims, has admitted to having sex with the two but only after they had turned 18 years old.
The date was set this week after the Crown and defence counsel completed their closing arguments in what has been a long-running trial, held at the Prince George courthouse.
It took up three weeks in September 2012, resumed in May for a further three weeks of testimony and was followed by seven days of closing arguments.
