A man was sentenced to jail and probation Monday in provincial court for three sex-related crimes.
Richard Norman Caron, 44, was sentenced to two years less a day in jail for sexual assault and sexual interference of a person under 16 years old and to six months in jail for possession of child pornography.
Caron was also sentenced to three years probation on all three counts.
The sexual interference conviction stems from a July 2006 incident, the possession of child pornography from a December 2009 incident and the sexual assault from a May 2010 incident.
