Prince George RCMP arrested four men and three women after a search warrant was executed 30 kilometres west of Prince George yesterday (Nov. 21).

A press release says Prince George RCMP's street crew unit alongside North District RCMP's emergency response team executed the warrant at a residence on Isle Pierre Road.

Approximately 1.5 kilograms of what is believed to be methamphetamine and 1 kilogram of what Mounties believe to be cocaine was seized along with cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia and a loaded firearm.

The street value of the drugs is estimated to be in excess of $50,000.

The four men and three women were arrested but have since been released without charges at this time, pending further investigation and charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.

The press release says the seizure is a "significant disruption to drug trafficking in our community."

Prince George RCMP says they are committed to enforcement and prevention initiatives that combat the possession and sale of drugs in the community.
