Highway 16 was closed in both directions at Cluculz Lake on Monday afternoon following a collision between a semi tractor trailer unit and a car.
"The number of occupants and their injuries are unknown at this time," North District RCMP Cst. Lesley Smith said in a press release issued shortly before 4 p.m.
The collision occurred at the intersection of the Highway and Sunny Slope Road about 45 kilometres west of Prince George's city limit.
The highway is closed for a 2.5 kilometre stretch, from eight kilometres west of Bednesti to 5.5 kilometres west of Bednesti according to the
Ministry of Transportation's DriveBC website.
