One of two man nabbed in a drug trafficking investigation by the Prince George RCMP's street crew unit has been sentenced to 191 days in jail.
Justin Edward Pawluck, 32, was issued the term Friday in Prince George provincial court for two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He has remained in custody since his arrest in late January when he and Alan Troy Baker, 32, were apprehended in a parking lot near 15th Avenue and Central Street West.
A search of the two and of two vehicles linked to them yielded significant amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and cash, RCMP said at the time.
Evidence at that scene provided the basis for a search warrant on a Hopkins Road home where more evidence of drug trafficking was found, as was a loaded 12-guage shotgun, and within easy access of two of the three children who live there, RCMP also said.
Pawluck was also issued a lifetime firearms ban and assessed $400 in victim surcharges.
Baker also remains in custody and his case remains before the court.
