The Prince George SOB's (Short of Breath) meet every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. for exercise and discussion in the gymnasium at AiMHi, 950 Kerry St. The group also meets on the first Friday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon for presentations and discussions with various guest speakers.

PGCOS is offering free income tax preparation for seniors every Monday and Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to noon, 1055 - 5th Avenue. No appointments necessary - until April 30.

PGCOS will be offering the Seniors Reaching Out to Seniors workshop program. PGCOS will be recruiting facilitators to present elder abuse and financial abuse of seniors workshops. If you are interested in this training, contact Glenda at 250-564-5888 or [email protected].

ECRA is holding a spring garage sale on May 5 to raise money for the centre. The sale is being held at ECRA, 1692 10 Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.. For more information, call ECRA at 250-561-9381

The Prince George chapter of the kidney foundation will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday April 19 in the 4th floor Education Room of the University Hospital of Northern BC. Special guest speaker David DeVore will do a presentation on diabetes.

The Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society invites seniors to come out to their monthly seniors' social session between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. For more information, contact Mojegan at 250-563-2900
