A seminar next week seeks to draw back the curtains of perception and show people how their own personal intuition can be a stronger guiding force in life.

Pilip Ponchet is a lecturer with the Inner Peace Movement of Canada. He will deliver two sessions on Tuesday on the topic of hearing and acting on your own intuition.

"There is more to life than working 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and having two weeks vacation every year," Ponchet said. "We all have a unique purpose or passion in life so it's imperative that we learn to listen to ourselves. In the Inner Peace Movement we help people help themselves by getting their spiritual facts of life, so then everyone is free to create the life they truly imagine for themselves."

He said the usual human tendency is to second-guess or distrust the subtle messages our inner beliefs and feelings are trying to tell us.

"We think too much," he said. "We've been taught to be analytical but when it comes to finding our passion in life, thinking about it isn't going to help, it has to come from the heart, our true feelings."

His lectures are based at Esther's Inn, one at 1 p.m. the other at 7:30 p.m. Each one is about 90 minutes in length. Tickets are $21 each and for more information visit the www.innerpeacemovement.ca website.
