Barry Blain Seymour, 32, was visiting Prince George when he was last seen and he has not been in contact with his friends and relatives in Fort Ware, a small community at the north end of Williston Lake. The last confirmed sighting of Seymour was more than a week ago.

"Police were provided with information that [Seymour] was staying at a local motel in Prince George," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Officers conducted a number of checks at local motels and with family. All investigative avenues have been followed up on by officers with negative results."

After looking unsuccessfully since Saturday, and with no confirmed contact since May 23, police and family are now turning to the public for help.

Seymour is described as:
