Prince George RCMP appealed to the public Saturday for help in locating a male suspect who evaded police after a robbery at a Domano Boulevard gas station Friday night.
The suspect is described as a five-foot-eight Caucasian male, 35 to 40 years old with a thin build and black hair. He may a few days' worth of stubble and bears a tattoo on his right forearm. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white hat with a black brim along with a black 'sporty' jacket with white shoulders and white stripes across the chest.
According to an RCMP press release, at around 9:25 p.m. Friday a male suspect produced an edged weapon and demanded cash for an employee at a gas station in the 5100 block of Domano.
The employee was not harmed.
The suspect fled on foot. Police said 911 was not called immediately, delaying the subsequent RCMP response.
Officers established a perimeter upon arrival but could not locate the suspect.
