From kindergarten to Grade 12, it's taken 13 years of effort to get to this weekend for graduates of College Heights and D.P. Todd secondary schools.
Although they still have a month of classes and final exams left before they say goodbye to their school days, those senior students will take the spotlight the next two days at the Civic Centre.
College Heights students will be sporting their graduation gowns today at 1 p.m., with 168 Grade 12 scholars eligible to receive diplomas. Then on Saturday, also at 1 p.m., 142 D.P. Todd seniors will line up for their convocation.
Kelly Road secondary school and its 203 Grade 12s will be next up for graduation duty, on Friday, June 1 at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Duchess Park secondary ceremony for 161 students on Saturday, June 2, starting at 1 p.m. Both events will be at the Civic Centre.
