A group of kids is safe after the school bus carrying them collided with a car on Ness Lake Road just past the Chief Lake turn off a few hours ago.
The kids were safely transferred to another bus and taken away from the scene while rescue workers scrambled to get the personnel and equipment together to extricate two car passengers.
One passenger is now free and a second was being worked on as of 3:45 p.m.
The road has been closed to vehicles and will not reopen for two hours, according to initial reports.
