Visitors to the Foothills Boulevard Regional Landfill will experience traffic delays between Monday, Sept. 8 and Friday, Sept. 12 as the entrance and exit scales are replaced, the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George announced on Thursday, Sept. 4.
During that week, there will only be single-lane alternative traffic coming in and out of the landfill site.
Also, compost will not be available for sale during that time.
The landfill at 6969 Foothills Blvd. North is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
