Police couldn't help but notice suspicious body language by a couple of people on the street, even though the officers were en route to another call.
Police checked with the two males in the 1300 block of Strathcona Avenue, and soon discovered some items of lethal concern.
"The males acted very nervous," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Officers questioned the two. Further checks found a freshly sawed off .410 gauge shotgun and ammunition in the vehicle. The gun was seized and the 52-year-old and 32-year-old suspects were arrested for possession of a prohibited weapon."
The investigation is continuing, said Douglass.
