A variety of paving projects are ongoing throughout the city, which may cause some delays for drivers.
The more than $1.1 million worth of road rehabilitation work underway throughout the city this week is happening at:
Third Avenue between Victoria and Vancouver Streets
Fourth Avenue between Victoria Street and Queensway
Fifth Avenue at the intersection with Ospika Boulevard
15th Avenue from the bypass to Johnson Street
15th Avenue between Victoria and Alward Streets
Brunswick Street between Fourth and Seventh Avenues
Redwood Street between 15th and 17th Avenues
Spruce Street between 15th and 17th Avenues
Carney Street at the intersection with First Avenue.
Asphalt milling - removing part of the surface of a paved area - began Monday, with paving scheduled to start Wednesday.
Work will be completed during the night shift and operations are expected to take up to 10 days.
