A “police incident” at Highway 16 and Upland Street in Prince George closed the road for part of the night, Drive BC says, but the roadway has now been reopened, according to a 6:03 a.m. update.
The eastbound overhead traffic signal was not working but the secondary signal was still in operation, Drive BC said at 4:57 a.m. Drivers in the area were urged to use caution.
Drive BC first warned of the problem in a statement at 2:21 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 30).
