A small group of boaters had to be rescued from an island in the Nechako River early Saturday morning.
The Prince George Fire Department, Prince George RCMP and Prince George Search and Rescue all took part in the operation at about 1:30 a.m.
All seven stranded and cold people were brought to safety.
