Happy Friday, Prince George!

However, Environment Canada is predicting a very full day today (April 9) that includes rain, clouds, wind and potential thunderstorms.

The service says the city will see mainly cloudy skies to start the morning, which may bring a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon.

There's also 50 km/h winds in the forecast, culminating in a risk of thunderstorms.

Conditions are expected to stay the same in the evening as winds die down to 20 km/h.

Temperatures could reach a high of 5 C and an overnight low of -9 C with the chill.
