Rise and shine, Prince George!

Some snow is in the forecast later tonight
Kyle Balzer - Feb. 11, 2021 blue winter sky extreme cold
Blue winter skies in Prince George.. you know... despite the extreme cold temperatures.

Sunny Saturday, indeed!

Environment Canada is calling for lots of sunshine in continuing the Family Day long weekend amid the chilly conditions.

Today (Feb. 13), 15 km/h winds may drop the mercury to -38 C in the morning and -22 C in the afternoon with the chill.

Conditions could get a bit snowy overnight with a 60 per cent chance of flurries in the region.

Temperatures will dip to -30 C in the evening with those 15 km/h winds still gusting.

Prince George's extreme cold warning ended before 1 a.m. early this morning.
