Hope you had a Merry Christmas, Prince George!

The weather is taking a bit of a turn with flurries this morning (Dec. 26), expected at a 30 per cent chance, changing into periods of snow.

Clouds will hover the northern capital once the fog dissipates, bringing in about two centimetres of snowfall.

Environment Canada is predicting 15 km/h winds for the afternoon as well, dropping the daily high from -1 C to -9 C with the chill.

The national service says the snow should end before Sunday morning (Dec. 27).

Temperatures will drop to -4 C overnight.
