It appears a white Christmas Eve is upon us.
Today (Dec. 24), Environment Canada's forecast is calling for 60 per cent chance of flurries in Prince George this morning among mainly cloudy skies and winds up to 40 km/h.
This will drop the temperature to -11 C with the chill.
Gusts will slow down to 20 km/h in the afternoon; the high is expected to reach 1 C.
Evening conditions should clear up for Santa's trip over the north, but his sleigh may endure some turbulence.
With those 20 km/h winds, the temperature may go down to -8 C.
A snowfall warning remains in effect for Highway 97 at the Pine Pass with 20 cm set to accumulate by the morning.
